I've spent 18 years as a lecturer in modern history at Starlight Institute of Technology in Accra. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a shop assistant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
