Nam Ngo
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 New York, New York, United States
- Little New York Trades Guild
- Since 1998
- English, Vietnamese
My trade is auto repair. I opened my own shop in 1998 in New York and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Nam: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
