I've been a nurse for 28 years, most of them in intensive care at Bamboo Clinic in Hồ Chí Minh City. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
