Nalin Jayawardena
Painter, potter and teacher at Colombo Studio
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Studio
- 1998 to 2019
- English, Sinhala
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1998 at Colombo Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I make terrible puns.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
