Naliaka Beatrice Kato
Teacher at Kisumu Public School, loves geography
- 🇰🇪 Kisumu, Kisumu, Kenya
- Kisumu Public School
- 2015 to 2025
- English, Swahili
For ten years I was the geography teacher at Kisumu Public School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Naliaka
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Naliaka: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
