Naledi M. Davids
Welding for 31 years in Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- The Johannesburg Shop
- Since 1995
- English
I've worked in welding since 1995. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 620 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Naledi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Naledi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
