I've been a nurse for 13 years, most of them in palliative care at Victory Health Center in Kakamega. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I walk the dog by the river.
Areas of care
What gifts mean to Nakato: A gift would go toward blankets and small comforts for patients without family.
