Nahom Haile Abate

26 years teaching civil engineering at Northside Polytechnic

  • 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
  • Northside Polytechnic
  • 1996 to 2025
  • English
I taught civil engineering at Northside Polytechnic from 1996 to 2025, and supervised 54 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

What gifts mean to Nahom: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
