Coached netball for 14 years in Adama
- 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Adama Victory Sports Club
- Since 2012
- English, Amharic
For 14 years I've run the netball program at Adama Victory Sports Club in Adama. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Nahom
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Nahom: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
