I've volunteered with Lincoln Volunteer Corps since 1983. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Nahid
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
Causes
What gifts mean to Nahid: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
