Nafula Joyce Mrema
Brass band player and teacher in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Since 1978
- English, Swahili
I play brass band and bass. I started in 1978 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Nafula
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
