Nafula Amani Ochieng
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇿 Zanzibar City, Zanzibar Urban/West, Tanzania
- Little Zanzibar City Shop
- 2008 to 2019
- English
I've worked in auto repair from 2008 to 2019. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 630 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Nafula
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Nafula: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
