I work mostly in textiles, sometimes woodcarving. My first show was in 2017 at The Dar es Salaam Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I never rush a conversation. My studio is always a bit of a mess. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
