Nadia Noor Darwish
Painting and decorating for 28 years in Aswan
- 🇪🇬 Aswan, Aswan, Egypt
- Old Aswan Trades Guild
- Since 1998
- English
I've worked in painting and decorating since 1998. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 1,570 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
More about Nadia
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Nadia: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
