I've worked in blacksmithing since 1978. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 2,210 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
