Nadeem Usman Awan
Teacher at Lahore Girls' School, loves chemistry
- 🇵🇰 Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan
- Lahore Girls' School
- Since 1991
- English, Punjabi
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Nadeem
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Nadeem: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
