First-generation students mentor, Oakland

  • 2003 to 2012

I'm a mentor in first-generation students. I spent my career as a nurse and now give some of that back. Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
