Nabirye Upendo Bakari

17 years teaching special education in Mukono

  • 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
  • Holy Cross Boys' School
  • Since 1991
  • English, Spanish
For 35 years I have been the special education teacher at Holy Cross Boys' School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 1,860 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
