I taught mathematics at Ashford Technical College in Mwanza from 1979 to 2009. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Nabirye
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Nabirye: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me mathematics in 2007 at Ashford Technical College. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Truly.
