For 16 years I was the music teacher at Eastgate Technical College. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 800 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Nabirye: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
