I've coached chess at 6th of October City Boxing Gym since 1980. Most of my players were between 10 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Nabil
If you played for me, you probably remember the quiz night we nearly won.
What gifts mean to Nabil: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
