I spent eight years as a lecturer in public health at Our Lady of Peace State University in Cairo. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a mechanic and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
