For 29 years I ran the athletics program at Accra Fairview Youth Club in Accra. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Naana
If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
What gifts mean to Naana: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
