Myra E. Chopra
Social studies and accounting teacher, Thane
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Thane Academy
- Since 1978
- English, Hindi, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 48 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Myra
If you were in my the final-year class class, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.

What gifts mean to Myra: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I was in your the final-year class class in 1992. You believed I could do it before I did!
