I'm a jewelry artist based in Mwanza. I've been making things since 1985 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I also teach a weekly class at Mwanza Pottery, which keeps me honest.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mwende
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Mwende: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
