Mwende Kimani Opio
Religious studies teacher at Nairobi Academy, 1982 to 2005
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Academy
- 1982 to 2005
- English
For 23 years I was the religious studies teacher at Nairobi Academy. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mwende
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
