Mwende John Lubega
Textiles artist in Entebbe
- 🇺🇬 Entebbe, Central Region, Uganda
- Old Trinity Pottery
- Since 2014
- English
I work mostly in textiles, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 2014 at Old Trinity Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I carry a notebook everywhere. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mwende
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
