Mwende Hamisi Mutebi

32 years teaching biology in Dar es Salaam

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Victory Middle School
  • 2008 to 2017
  • English
I taught biology at Victory Middle School in Dar es Salaam from 2008 to 2017. Most days I taught Year 7, and I never turned anyone away. I coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mwende

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mwende: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
