For 14 years I ran the athletics program at Nairobi Athletic Club in Nairobi. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
