Mwangi Evans Shayo
Volunteer mentor with Sunrise Community Trust
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Sunrise Community Trust
- Since 2016
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 280 people through Sunrise Community Trust.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mwangi
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
