Pottery, done properly
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya

I've worked in pottery from 1991 to 2003. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 460 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Mwanaisha
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Mwanaisha: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
