Mwanaisha Chebet Mwende
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Old Phoenix Workshop
- 2000 to 2014
- English, Swahili
I've worked in tiling from 2000 to 2014. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 630 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
I'm still learning every day.
