Mutua Maina Temba
Professor of philosophy, Machakos College
- 🇰🇪 Machakos, Machakos, Kenya
- Machakos College
- 2008 to 2017
- English, Swahili
My subject is philosophy, and for nine years I got to share it with undergraduates at Machakos College.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mutua
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Mutua: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
