Mutua Byaruhanga Kessy
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Windsor Workshop
- Since 2008
- English, Swahili
My trade is masonry. I opened my own shop in 2008 in Nairobi and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Mutua: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
