Muthoni Eunice Nakamya
Teacher at Dar es Salaam Technical College, loves mathematics

- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 28 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, my door is open at lunch.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Muthoni
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me mathematics in 1998 at Dar es Salaam Technical College. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
