Musyoka Mukasa Hamisi

Rugby and fitness coach, Dar es Salaam

  • 🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Dar es Salaam Sports Club
  • 1992 to 2003
  • English, Swahili
For eleven years I ran the rugby program at Dar es Salaam Sports Club in Dar es Salaam. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Musyoka

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
