Musyoka Joseph Wafula
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- The Central Shop
- Since 2013
- English
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Kinondoni, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Musyoka: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
