Musyoka Barasa Kessy
Violin and tabla teacher
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Elmwood Orchestra
- Since 2012
- English, Swahili
I've played violin since 2012, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
More about Musyoka
I write my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Musyoka: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
