I've been a nurse for 41 years, most of them in neonatal care at Sunrise General Hospital in Eindhoven. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I garden badly but happily.
I'm still learning every day.
