Mussa Evans Ochieng
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Little Atlas Shop
- Since 1979
- English, Swahili
I've worked in tiling since 1979. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,930 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Mussa: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
