Choir director and singer
- 🇮🇳 Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
- Ahmedabad Music School
- 1979 to 1994
- English, Tamil
I play sitar and jazz. I started in 1979 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Murugan
I wrote my first song when I was 16. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Murugan: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
