Murilo Thiago Castro

Woodcarving and illustration artist

  • 🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Old Kilimanjaro Art Collective
  • 1994 to 2005
  • Portuguese
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1994 at Old Kilimanjaro Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Old Kilimanjaro Art Collective, which keeps me honest. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Murilo

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
