Murilo André Figueiredo
Self-taught calligraphy artist
- 🇧🇷 Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil
- Little Belo Horizonte Print Workshop
- 1987 to 1995
- Portuguese, French
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1987 at Little Belo Horizonte Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Belo Horizonte Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Murilo
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Murilo: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
