I taught biology at Brookfield High School in Istanbul from 1988 to 2022. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 1,600 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
