Murat Barış Aslan
Self-taught photography artist
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Old Istanbul Pottery
- 2001 to 2012
- English, Turkish
I work mostly in photography, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 2001 at Old Istanbul Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Murat
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Murat: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
