I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mukesh
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mukesh: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
