Mukasa Kimani Wekesa
14 years teaching home economics in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Riverside Grammar School
- Since 1979
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 47 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 2,590 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Mukasa: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
