Mugisha Wekesa Waweru
Teacher at Arusha Technical College, loves geography

For 47 years I have been the geography teacher at Arusha Technical College. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,500 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.
