Mugisha Maina
Painter, potter and teacher at Little Nairobi Print Workshop
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Little Nairobi Print Workshop
- Since 2000
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in photography, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 2000 at Little Nairobi Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Nairobi Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mugisha
I've had 14 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Mugisha: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
