Mugisha Collins Opio
Classical and accordion teacher
- 🇰🇪 Machakos, Machakos, Kenya
- Maple Ridge Quartet
- 2004 to 2012
- English
I play classical and accordion. I started in 2004 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I run most mornings.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mugisha
I wrote my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Mugisha: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.

I still have the recording from that night at Maple Ridge Quartet. Greetings from Sydney.
